Christmas

We opened our presents on Christmas Eve this year, after we attended the church service where we were joined by Aunt Ann and John.

Grace chose the big one from Aunt Jane to open first (she suspected that it was a Baby Alive). She was correct, and she screamed at the top of her lungs as only a little girl can "it's a Baby Alive!!!!". Nicholas would have to wait for his Slurpy maker to be delivered by Santa the next morning.

On Christmas day, we were joined by Rick and Sandy and we all went out to Jane's house for a fantastic Christmas dinner. We had a great time, as well as great food! Pat, Kim and Connor joined us later and the kids all had fun while the adults tried to stay awake.

Presents!

Hat and Mittens.

You would think it would be difficult to open presents while wearing mittens.

It doesn't take long to open all of the presents.

Cool aprons!

Rip, tear, rip, tear!

Nicholas made a beqautiful bracelet for Mom.
She also recieved one of Grace's old monkeys from Grace.

Christmas morning yeilds a few more surprises.

Baby Alive (Elisa) eats her entire supply of poop making food in just a few hours.

More Elisa feeding.

Several diaper changes later, Elisa is out of diapers.

Nicholas finally awakes, and....it's a Slurpy maker!

Grace helps Nicholas open his Santa stuff.

Ready to go pick up Grandma and Grandpa at the airport.

Later, at Aunt Janes house, Dad takes a snooze while the kids play and play and play.

The next evening, we dined at Bennihanna's. When we got home, the kids dressed up like chefs, got out kitchen utensils and started banging them around. They were bent on becomming fancy Bennihanna chefs. Needless to say, they had a great time. Grace keeps asking me if she can have her birthday dinner there.

That's if for 2006! See ya next year!
